Christian Art

Christian Art

Christian Art: Portuguese Influence + Indian Style

Visual Art

Old Goa के churches — Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, और

Basilica of Bom Jesus

Goan Christian Paintings

Christian Sculptures

Goan Art

Architecture

Christian Art

Art Form

Christmas in Kerala — Syrian Christian Style

Thiruvithamcode Arappally — India’s Oldest Church

“Sadhu” Jesus — AV Asirvatham

Bengali Christian Art

Jamini Roy —

उनकी प्रसिद्ध painting “The Three Kings” में Wise Men बिल्कुल Bengali bauls की तरह दिखते हैं — dhoti, gamcha, और उनके हाथों में offerings जो Indian rural life से लिए गए हैं।

Frank Wesley — Methodism और Indian Art का Sangam

उनकी paintings में Jesus की Sermon on the Mount एक Indian village में होती है, Last Supper में Indian food और utensils हैं, और Nativity scene एक Indian मुहल्ले में है।

उनकी paintings आज United Methodist Church के global publications में use होती हैं और उन्हें “the artist who gave Jesus an Indian face” कहा जाता है।

Dalit Christian Art

Mixed Style

Company School of Painting

Christian Art

Christmas Traditions

Decorative Arts

Christmas Cribs in Goa: एक अनोखी Indian-Christian Art Tradition

Presepios

Saint Francis of Assisi

Goan Presepios

Old Goa के बड़े Presepios

Presepio Art

Contemporary Presepios — New Trends

Cribs

Contemporary Indian Christian Artists

Inculturation

Pioneering Artist

Tanjore painting की परंपरा में जो gold leaf work और rich colors हैं, उन्हें da Fonseca ने Christ की life के scenes में apply किया।

Kalamkari Tradition

Kalamkari में जो natural dyes, hand-drawn figures, और narrative scroll tradition है, उसे उन्होंने Old और New Testament की stories के लिए adapt किया।

Lucy D’Souza — Feminist Christian Art

New Generation

Christian Art
